I had a lovely day in the shop yesterday. I like Saturdays as it's busy in the shop and I'm not working in the workshop. In the afternoon I met a glass artist called Louise Watson. She makes public commissions as part of her repertoire and this picture is detail of an installation in the Obstetrics Department at Ormskirk hospital in Lancashire. It's always nice to meet other designer/makers and hear how they make their way in the world! It's always a pleasure to
