Embroidered Walnut lampshades

We've just got some new work in by Manchester designer Jane Blease. We have had her beautiful acrylic work in for a while now and now she has developed a new body of work which I saw at the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair and was very taken with.

She has created lampshades with walnut veneer which she peirces with a pyrography pen and then hand embroiders with colourful threads. She has also done some framed pieces and some lovely little brooches too. You can see them here on the website.
